Kunjunni Master a renowned poet Born in 1927 at Valappad in Thrissur District was is a school teacher by profession. The poet was different because he always stood apart from other malayalam poetic composition. The poems were always short and are often 2 or 3 lines. But it was noted by there class and humour often liked by childrens. He was categorized as a children poet. But his poems appealed to the young and old alike. The Master has exposed the cultural and spiritual crisis of contemporary Kerala society.
kunjunnimastercved at his residence in Valappad, near Thrissur, on Sunday. The funeral held with state honours. The Governor, Cheif Minister and many honourable members conveys there condolence to scores of Kunjunni Master’s admirers.
